Love You To Pieces

Hello and welcome to my blog! 😊 It's been ages I last posted anything here, although I've been busy creating in 2020-21. If you are interested, please have a look at the blog of my previous Design Teams: cuttoyou.com.au and cliquekitsblog.weebly.com

2022 wasn't my year so far, I had a break from creating, because I somehow lost mojo because of aaaaall the things around us - still Covid-19, and the war in Ukraine, which is our neighbour country... These things just made me feeling depressed. 😔

Let me show you the latest layout I created - used my favourites: a @CUTtoYOU cut file and the Sunkissed collection of @cocoa_vanilla_studio.

First I cut the @cut_to_you cut file from white cardstock and started to back them with some patterned papers of the Sunkissed collection.

When I was ready, I made some watercoloured background with two different Catherine Pooler ink pads (colours: Hot Tube, Sage).

I placed the cut files, my photo and started to decorate my layout. I used fussy cut flowers, and some other ephemeras from the Sunkissed collection. 

I really like the bright colours of this layout. Let me know, what you think. I'd love to hear from you.

Let's Stay Home

I made this layout for an other challenge of Flóra Mónika Krč-Farkas at Pink and Paper Shop. This time she made a sketch, based on one of her old layouts. To topic is by Bogáta Batta: Create a layout with the title Stay At Home!

First I cut the Let's Stay Home cut file of Paige Taylor Evans from white smooth cardstock. 

Then I backed the cut file with patterned papers of the Gingham Garden collection of My Mind's Eye. 

I also matted the photos with some patterned papers of the collection. 

The photos were taken on the first day of online teaching from home. It was a challenge (and still is) , two of us teaching, one of us learning in the same time! Ha! 

I centered the title in the middle and arranged the photos and some embellishments as the sketch shows. Here is my layout of our #stayhomechallenge:

Szia, örülök, hogy erre jársz. Ma ismét egy Krč-Farkas Flóra Mónika (Pink and Paper Shop) kihívásra készült oldalamat hoztam el Neked.

A kihívás témáját Batta Bogáta találta ki: #maradjotthon témában kellett alkotni. Az ihletet pedig Flóra egyik régebbi oldalának vázlata adta.

Először kivágtam a Silhouette Cameo vágógépemmel Paige Taylor Evans Let's Stay Home vágófájlját sima fehér alapkartonból.

A vágófájlt az új My Mind's Eye Gingham Garden nevű kollekció mintás papírjaival háttereztem, a fotók mögé is ezeket helyeztem. 

A címet középre, a fényképeket és néhány díszítőelemet a vázlat alapján alulra rendeztem.

A fotó az első #távoktatás -i napon készült, amikor is külön kihívás volt (és azóta is az), hogy ketten itthonról tanítunk, és egyvalaki itthonról tanul...

I made this layout for the challenge of Flóra Mónika Farkas at Pink and Paper Shop. The task was to use an old collection that you haven't touched yet or only made a few creations so far.

I have chosen the Bella Rouge collection of Pink Paislee (2015).

I created a grid design using the 4"x4" cards from the collection. I also fussy cut several little flowers to decorate the layout. 

The story is about my daughter who lost her first tooth in March. The title says: Tooth Fairy, you may come! 😊

Mai scrapbook oldalam Farkas Flóra Mónika (Pink and Paper Shop) márciusi kihívására készült. Az volt a feladat, hogy egy olyan régi kollekcióból alkossunk, amiből még egyáltalán nem, vagy csak keveset alkottunk.

Én a Pink Paislee Bella Rouge kollekciót választottam, 2015-ből. Bár alkottam belőle, még mindig sok minden maradt 😅

Az oldal négyzetrácsos elrendezéséhez a kollekció 4"x4" kártyáit használtam. Sok virágot kivágtam, hogy azokkal díszítsem az oldalt (és mert szeretek vágni és imádom a virágokat 😄)

Az oldal azt a nagy eseményt örökíti meg, amikor márciusban végre kiesett a kislányom első tejfoga. Szóval: Fogtündér, jöhetsz! 😉 És jött is, kétszer is 😅

Te is meg szoktad örökíteni valamilyen módon ezeket az eseményeket?

Wowza! Miniversum - CUT to YOU

Miniversum is a great, detailed model layout featuring Hungary's beautiful sights and places in an interactive exhibition. Unfortunately it closes at the end of the month, so we decided in January to have a look. I made tons of photos while having fun.

When I first saw the Stepped Cubes cut file, I thought it would be great to scrap this memory.

I cut the Stepped Cubes cut file from smooth white cardstock, and printed my photos in different sizes as I wanted to back some of the quadrangles with mini photos.

Then I started to back the cut file with patterned paper, I used a 6"x6" paper pad of Pinkfresh Studio My Favourite Story collection.

When I was ready, I glued the cut file with foam adhesive on a patterned paper of the same collection. I added some flowers from the cut outs, my title, comment, enamel dots, and even used some stamps.

Sziasztok! Örülök, hogy benéztél.
Januárban sikerült elmennünk a Miniversum kiállítására - nagyszerű élmény volt látni a sok terepasztal, mozgó vonatokat, buszokat, a kis emberkéket a különböző szituációkban ( és a felnőtteknek szóló poénokat). A sok fényképből, amit ott készült, készítettem egy scrapbook oldalt is, ezt mutatom ma meg Neked.
Ezúttal a CUT to YOU Stepped Cubes nevű vágófájlját vágtam ki Silhouette Cameo vágógépem segítségével fehér alapkartonból. A kis négyzeteket, téglalapokat a Pinkfresh Studio My favorite Story kollekciójának mintás papírjaival háttereztem, illetve néhány fotót is ilyen kis méretben hivattam elő, és kereteztem be őket a vágófájllal.
Amikor elkészültem, 3D ragasztószalaggal rögzítettem a vágófájlt egy mintás papírra, szintén ebből a kollekcióból. Még tettem néhány virág kivágatot, enamel pöttyöt, pufi matricát díszítésképp, sőt, pecsételtem is az oldalon.

Waiting for Sunny Days - CUT to YOU

Hi there, Piroska is here today with my latest layout. As you know, I just love leaves in scrapbooking, so I immediately fell in love with the beautiful Lots of Leaves cut file.

I really like the colours of the Looking for Sunshine paper of the Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story collection. I decided to cut my leaves from that paper, making it a bit ombre by arranging the cut file so that it reaches 2 similar colours. This way are the leaves 3" tall.

I cut 12 leaves, 3 in each colour combo, but for the layout I used 10 of them. On a single white cardstock they looked a bit pale. I didn't want to use watercolours this time, so I chose the Joyful Heart paper with those rainbow and (almost) the same colours as my leaves.

And it was time to play: I put my photo which I matted before with several patterned papers on the left rainbow above. I used many flower cut outs and my digital cut leaves to frame my photo - it was made at Lake Balaton (Hungary), at the beginning of our holiday. The weather was not so good, not cold but not good enough for going to the beach. So that's what my title is about,which I also framed by some leaves.

Sziasztok! A mai scrapbook oldalam a CUT to YOU számára készült. Mint tudjátok, nagyon szeretem a leveleket, mint díszítőelemeket az alkotásaimban használni. Nagyon megtetszett a  CTY márciusi kollekciójából a Lots of Leaves vágófájl, amit a Pinkfresh Studio My Favorite Story kollekció Sunshine paper nevú papírjából vágtam ki 12x. A leveleket úgy helyeztem el, hogy két színt érintsenek, és így ombre hatásuk legyen - a méretük így 3" magas.
Fehér alapkartonon nem érvényesültek annyira a levelek, és most nem volt kedvem festeni. Így egy másik mintás papírt, a Joyful Heart nevű szivárványos papírt választottam alapnak. Végül csak 10 levelet használtam fel az oldalon. A fényképem alá rétegeztem némi színes papírt, és a bal felső szivárványhoz helyeztem. Sok virág kivágattal és a Cameo-val kivágott levelekkel kereteztem a fotót.
A fotó a Balatonnál készült, egy nyári szünet elején, amikor is az időjárás nem volt túl kegyes hozzánk. Ezért is a cím: Várjuk a napos napokat. A címet a jobb oldali szivárványra "írtam", különböző betűmatricákat használva, és szintén levelekkel és virággal díszítettem.

I just love the flowers of the She's Magic collection of Dear Lizzy. I fussy cut the whole Magic paper and scrapped this photo of my daughter with a schoolfriend of her.

I made a wreath from the fussy cut flowers, and bended them up a little on the edges.

I added some stickers, puffy stickers and enamel dots on the layout.

In the end it looked like this:

Some of the mothers in Blanka's school were interested in scrapbooking, so we made this layout together. My first workshop! Amazing! And they were so skilly! :-)

Imádom a Dear Lizzy kollakció virágait! Olyannyira, hogy az egész Magic papírból kivágtam a virágokat, és a Sparkle papírra rendeztem őket koszorú alakban. Egy kicsit meghajlongattam a virágok és levelek szélét, hogy ne legyenek annyira laposak.
A fotó Blankáról még szeptemberben készült, iskolásként, az egyik új barátnőjével. Azóta vártam a megfelelő kollekciót hozzá - és jelentem, ebben megtaláltam :-D
Néhány matricával, pufi matricával, enamel pöttyel egészítettem még ki az oldalt. Hogy tetszik?

Blanka osztálytársainak az anyukái érdeklődtek a scrapbook iránt, így közösen is elkészítettük az oldalt. EZ volt az első workshopom, mondhatni ;-) Nagyon ügyesek voltak - remélem, minél hamarabb tudjuk majd folytatni!!

 The February challenge of Flóra Mónika Farkas at Pink and Paper Shop was to make a red & pink scrapbook page or card with lots of hearts elements.

I had this cut file of Paige Taylor Evans cut a long time ago, and paired it with am ombre background paper of the Pink Paislee Pick Me Up collection.

The embellishments are from the Main Squeeze collection of Crate Paper.

The photo was taken at a wedding 2 years ago. We had great fun playing with the photo accessoires. I just loved that floral wall, made by my cousine!

Farkas Flóra Mónika (Pink and Paper Shop) februári kihívásában szívekben tobzódó, rózsaszín és piros oldalt kellett készíteni. Már régóta kivágtam Paige Taylor Evans virágos szív vájófájlját, és egy ombre papírt tettem mögé a Pink Paislee Pick Me Up kollekcióból.
A kiegészítők a Crate Paper Main Squeeze kollekcióból valók.
A fénykép egy 2 évvel ezelőtti esküvőn készült, ahol jól elszórakoztunk a fotókellékekkel. A virágos falért teljesen odáig voltam, még inkább, mikor megtudtam, hogy az unokatestvérem saját maga készítette!! :-D

Winter - CSI challenge

CUT to YOU is one of the sponsors of the CSI Challenges - so I am here today with a layout for the Case No. 311, to inspire you to take part on the challenge, it is so fun! :-)

The Case No. 311 is:

I was inspired by the Winter To-Do List title - skating was on our Winter bucketlist for about 1-2 years, and this year our daughter has finally learnt how to skate! I was amazed how fast she learnt it! I definitely had to scrap this memory ;-)

This challenge is also good for stash busting! You MUST use your older collections - I chose an older Crate Paper collection, Snow and Cocoa, which I loved back then, and although I have made a December Daily with it, I still have plenty of items hanging around :-P 

I have chosen the Winter cut file of CUT to YOU for this layout. I cut out the title of a patterned cardstock and one of the snowflakes (4 times) of white cardstock.

First I painted the background with my PRIMA Confections Watercoulurs, as I wanted to highlight my daughter on the photos, who has also a pink anorak.

Then I arranged everything diagonal,added some embellishments, a longer comment (also a requierement for the case challenge), and was ready ;-)

A CUT to YOU  a CSI kihívások (lásd itt: http://csichallenge.blogspot.com/2020/02/february-case-files-second-reveal.html) egyik fő szponzora - ezért ma az egyik kihívás kapcsán szeretnélek inspirálni arra, hogy készíts egy téli témájú scrapbook oldalt. A kihívás feltétele között szerepel, hogy ne újonnan vásárolt kollekcióból, hanem a meglevő készletünkből dolgozzunk. 

Én a Crate Paper Snow and Cocoa kollekciót ástam elő, amiből bár készítettem anno egy December Daily albumot, még mindig van jócskán 😅

A Winter To-Do List (téli tennivalók listája) cím fogott meg a 311-es eset kihívásnál. Évek óta tervben van, hogy megtanítjuk Blankát korcsolyázni, de csak idén valósult meg ez a pont a téli bakancslistánkról! Eszméletlen, milyen gyorsan megtanulna, és milyen ügyes. Kár, hogy máris vége a télnek (ebből a szempontból)... 

A CUT to YOU Winter vágófájlt választottam az oldalhoz. A címet mintás papírból, az egyik hópelyhet (4x) fehér alapkartonból vágtam ki. 

Először a Prima Watercolours akvarellfestékkel megfestettem a hátteret, hogy hangsúlyt kapjon a kislányom a fotón a pink overáljában. Majd átlósan elhelyeztem mindent, írtam egy hosszabb kommentet (ez is a kihívás egyik lehetséges feltétele), és már készen is voltam.
