Hello and welcome to my blog! 😊 It's been ages I last posted anything here, although I've been busy creating in 2020-21. If you are interested, please have a look at the blog of my previous Design Teams: cuttoyou.com.au and cliquekitsblog.weebly.com

2022 wasn't my year so far, I had a break from creating, because I somehow lost mojo because of aaaaall the things around us - still Covid-19, and the war in Ukraine, which is our neighbour country... These things just made me feeling depressed. 😔

Let me show you the latest layout I created - used my favourites: a @CUTtoYOU cut file and the Sunkissed collection of @cocoa_vanilla_studio.

First I cut the @cut_to_you cut file from white cardstock and started to back them with some patterned papers of the Sunkissed collection.

When I was ready, I made some watercoloured background with two different Catherine Pooler ink pads (colours: Hot Tube, Sage).

I placed the cut files, my photo and started to decorate my layout. I used fussy cut flowers, and some other ephemeras from the Sunkissed collection.

Home Bodies Collection - CUT to YOU

Hi there, it's Piroska here today with my latest share. I hope you are all doing well, and have time, energy and inspiration to create something. In these days scrapbooking has become my shelter, a place where I can forget about everything, even more than before. Besides the 12"x12" layouts I like to document the everydays in a Traveller's Notebook, and now in a Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters insert. The insert is 7.5"x9", so it is perfect for using cut files in it.

And the new Home Bodies collection makes it easy to fill the pages in no time. The cut files help in designing the pages, and they just look great.

I used the Hashtag Stay Safe and the Our Street cut files as usual: cut them from smooth white cardstock and backed them with patterned paper.

I cut the Isolation Staycation cut file from patterned paper, and as I loved the left overs on my cutting mat, I decided to use them as a background on the other side of the spread.

I didn't want to throw away the white letters that were left either, so I used my watercolours to give them some colour.

I hope I could inspire you to use the cut files also in a smaller format. Get the new cut files at the shop, and have some quiet minutes, hours just for yourself and your hobby!

Sziasztok, Piroska vagyok, és a legújabb projektemet hoztam ma Nektek. Remélem, hogy mind jól vagytok, és van időtök, energiátok és ihletetek, hogy alkossatok valamit. Ezekben a napokban a scrapbookozás még inkább a menedékem lett, a scrapsarkom az a hely, ahol elfeledkezem mindenről. A 12"x12" oldalak mellett egy Traveller's Notebook-ban is szeretem dokumentálni a hétköznapokat, most éppen egy Heidi Swapp Storyline Chapters insert-ben. A füzet is 7.5"x9", így tökéletes arra is, hogy vágófájlokat használjak benne.

Az új Home Bodies kollekció -val hamar összeáll egy oldal. A vágófájlok segítenek az oldal elrendezésében és szuperül mutatnak.

A Isolation Staycation vágófájlt mintás papírból vágtam ki, és mivel nagyon tetszett a negatívja, ami a vágóalátéten maradt, úgy döntöttem, hogy a másik oldalon háttérként használom fel.
A fehér betűk maradékát sem akartam kidobni, így elővettem a Prima Watercolour Confections akvarellfestékemet és a papírkészlethez hasonló színekkel festettem ki őket.

Remélem, hogy megihlettelek, és Te is kipróbálod ezeket a szuper vágófájlokat kisebb méretben is! Menj és nézd meg a legújabb vágófájlokat a shopban, és szakíts magadnak pár percet órát, hogy alkoss! Megérdemled! :-) <3

Yay! This is The Best - CUT to YOU

Hi, Piroska here today with my latest layout. My daughter has just started school in September, and started to go to a Rock&Show course, as she just loves dancing. After couple of months she got the opportunity to go to a dance competition with her friends in January. This photo on my layout was taken by her teacher, who captured their happiness as they heard the good news. All the way home they were shouting: Yay! Yay! I am in! I'll go to the competition! :-D

I was very glad to find the Yay Yay Yay Background cut file in the CUT to YOU shop, as it matches my theme perfectly. I used a smooth white cardstock for cutting and chose a bright colourful background paper from the Unforgettable collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I wanted the cut file to pop as it is part of my title and important part of my theme.

I backed my photo with some patterned papers, cut out some butterflies and arranged my photo and a journal card with some floral cut outs on the bottom right corner of the layout. In order to balance the page I added some butterflies and stickers up into the left corner.

I also played with dimensions by using 3D foam adhesive and curling up the wings of the butterflies. I finally added some clear stickers, enamel dots, the title and foam hearts.

I love how easily you can make a page by using a background cut file! Look around in the shop, you can find some goodies ;-) And if you don't have a Silhouette Cameo or other electronic cutting machine, you can order the cutfiles as custom cuts! What a great deal! ;-)

Ma újra egy vágófájllal készült oldalt hoztam Nektek, amit a CUT to YOU számára készítettem. A kislányom szeptemberben kezdte az iskolát, és ezzel együtt táncolni is elkezdett. Pár hónap múlva, januárban meghívást kapott barátnőivel együtt, hogy részt vegyenek első Rock&Show versenyükön. Kitörő örömmel fogadták a hírt, a hazafelé vezető úton mást sem hallottunk, csak hogy: Hurrá! Mehetek a versenyre! :-D

Ezt az élményt feltétlenül meg kellett örökítenem. A fotóhoz a fényképet a tánctanárnő készítette, akinek ezúton is köszönet érte! <3
A CUT to YOU webáruházában bukkantam a Yay Yay Yay Background vágófájlra, ami tökéletesen illett a témámhoz. Sima fehér alapkartonból vágtam ki a fájlt, és egy élénk színű papírt választottam alapnak a Cocoa Vanilla Studio Unforgettable kollekciójából. Azt szerettem volna, hogy a vágófájl hangsúlyos legyen, hiszen az is a címem részét képezi, és a témát erősíti.

A fotó mögé néhány mintás papírt rétegeztem, kivágtam pár pillangót, és a kártyával, virág kivágatokkal együtt a jobb alsó sarokba rendeztem a fotót. Hogy kiegyensúlyozzam az oldalt, néhány pillangót és címkét tettem a bal felső sarokba is.
Játszottam egy picit a dimenziókkal is (ez annyira feldobja az oldalt!), néhány pillangót 3D ragasztóval rögzítettem, illetve felpödörtem a pillangó szárnyakat. Végül használtam még átlátszó matricát, enamel pöttyöt, dekorgumi címfeliratot és szívet az oldalon.

Imádom, hogy milyen gyorsan összeáll egy oldal egy ilyen háttér vágófájl segítségével! Nézz körül a shopban, sok kincset találsz! Ha nincs még Silhouette Cameo vagy más elektronikus vágógéped, akkor se búsulj, kivágatként is megvásárolhatod a vágófájlokat - és már Magyarországra is szállítanak! Ne hagyd ki a lehetőséget!

Love You & Me - CUT to YOU

Hi there, Piroska is here today with a romantic layout featuring a cut file from the February Release. This month's offer is full of love and hearts, which are perfect for those love-themed layouts or Valentine cards. Check them out - I just love them all!

These days are the 13th anniversary of getting to know each other with my husband. I've chosen the Love You & Me cut file for this occasion, from which I first wanted to make a pinky Valentine Day-ish layout, but then decided to take on the floral romantic line.

I cut the cut file from smooth white cardstock and used the My Mind's Eye Splendor collection for backing it. The florals in the file are so beautiful, I wanted to highlight them by backing the file with floral patterns and fussy cutting some flowers from a patterned paper. 

I chose a white spotted peach coloured cardstock as a background paper and glued the cut file with foam adhesive on it, in order to add some dimension to the cut file. I backed my photo, and added the fussy cut flowers and chipboard stickers to the cut file. I arranged them by composing a visual triangle, and I repeated it with the enamel dots as well.

Üdvözöllek, örülök, hogy benéztél 😊

Ma a CUT to YOU blogján megjelent scrapbook oldalamat mutatom meg. 

Mostanában van 13 éve annak, hogy a férjemmel megismerkedtünk. A februári vágófájlok között a Love You & Me virágos vágófájl jól illett a témához. Először rózsaszín-Valentin napi oldalt terveztem belőle készíteni, de végül a romantikus-virágos mellett döntöttem, mert a My Mind's Eye Splendor kollekciója remekül illett a vágófájlhoz. 

A fájlt smooth fehér alapkartonból vágtam ki, virágos papírokkal háttereztem, és 3D ragasztószalaggal rögzítettem a barackszínű pöttyös papírra. Kivágtam néhány csokrot az egyik virágos papírból és elhelyeztem őket vizuális háromszöget képezve. 

Ugyanezt megismételtem az enamel pöttyökkel is. 

Nekem nagyon tetszik a végeredmény. Te mit gondolsz róla?

Calendar 2020 - CUT to YOU

it's Piroska here, and this is my very first post on the CTY blog. I am overjoyed and very grateful to Gwen to get the chance to join the Design Team of these amazing scrapbookers. 

As the CTY team is my first international Design Team, I wanted to scrap this special memory. The new Calendar 2020 cut file was perfect for the photo of the DT announcement.

I wanted to get a light and airy look, so I decided to cut the file from white cardstock and use a white cardstock as a base too.  

White on white could be boring, but adding 3D foam squares to lift the background cutfile results shadows, and shadows give a special "colour" and more dimension to the layout. I did not add dimensional foam stickers to everywhere, only to those parts, where there was enough place to add them, and I cut them in half to be able to place them on the edges.

As the background file is also the part of my title (Living the Dream: Jan-Jun 2020), I decorated those parts, but only those parts of the cutfile. For my whole layout I used the Unforgettable collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio. I chose pink and grey colours to reflect on the photo, so I added clear stickers in those colours under the Jan and Jun parts, and to my photo. I added cut outs and clear stickers to the 2020 part, and cut out some butterflies to continue playing with the dimensions.

Szia, örülök, hogy benéztél. Először is hadd kívánjak Neked boldog, sok örömmel, alkotással teli új évet! 
Nekem nagyon boldogan indult 2020, mert bekerültem a CUT to YOU csapatába, és a következő fél évben az ő vágófájljaival alkothatok. Az első oldalt máris mutatom (fotók: lásd fent)

Úgy döntöttem, hogy fehér smooth alapkartonból vágom ki a Calendar 2020 vágófájlt a Silhouette Cameo 3 vágógépemmel, és fehér strukturált alapkartonra helyezem rá. 3D ragasztókockákat használtam, hogy az árnyékot kihasználva egy kis játékosságot és egy új "színt" csempésszek az oldalra. A kis ragasztókockákkal nem borítottam be az egész vágófájlt, csak olyan helyekre tettem belőle, ahová elfértek, illetve a szélekre - itt kettévágtam őket.
Mivel a fájl is része a címemnek (Living the Dream - Jan-Jun 2020), ezeket a részeket díszítettem. A Cocoa Vanilla Studio Unforgettable kollekció átlátszó matricáit ragasztottam a JAN és JUN feliratok alá, és kivágatokkal (is) díszítettem a 2020 részt, itt is jásztva a dimenzió adta lehetőségekkel. Szürke és pink színeket használtam, hogy a fotóval összhangban legyen az oldal.
Egy háttér vágófájl segítségével nagyon hamar elkészül egy oldal. Neked milyen terveid vannak 2020-ra? Mit alkotnál ebből a fájlból? Szerezd meg a vágófájlt a shopból, és készíts egy hasonló oldalt.

Esztergom - mini album

I started this mini album at the Hungarian crop this autumn. Erika Győri showed us a beautiful and very creative summer themed mini album, which I inmediately fell in love with.
I used last years fall collection of Pink Paislee, called Auburn Lane, and scrapped our photos from the fall break of last year. I added many NőiCsizma Design chipboards, cut outs and Sizzix cut outs to the interactive pages. I really love the result.

Az őszi scraptáborban kezdtem el ezt az albumot, Győri Erika WS-e alapján. Erika vidám, köztes lapos megoldású albuma azonnal megtetszett, de én a nyári témát őszire változtatva készítettem el az albumot. 

Használtam hozzá sok NőiCsizma Design chipboardot, a Pink Paislee Auburn Lane kollekció papírjait és kiegészítőit, valamint Sizzix-vel vágtam még ki leveleket hozzá. Imádatos lett a végeredmény. Fenti linken található egy videó is róla.

Autumn

When I saw the Autumn Page Builder cut file of CUT to YOU, I wanted to make a fall layout again. I chose a photo from the end of October, when we were at the Lake Balaton to set our weekendhouse ready for Winter. It is always so sad, it means saying goodbye for a few months, but the Lake and its surroundings, the colours of nature, the fresh air makes everything bearable. 

So I cut the leaves from the Cut file https://createdbygwen.com.au/product/autumn-page-builder-cut-file/ twice, and the title once. I backed the leaves and the title with a patterned cardstock of the Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin collection, called Candy Corn. 

I wanted to use a white cardstock as a base, so I used first gesso, and then my Prima Watercolours, and created a background with the same colours as the patterned paper has. I felt that the layout was still empty, so I stamped some leaves and sentiments on the background. 

I arranged the leaves and the title diagonal, added some sequins and I was ready. Do you like it?

Amikor megláttam a CUT to YOU őszi háttér vágófájlját, azonnal akartam még egy őszi oldalt készíteni. Egy október végén készült fotót választottam, amikor is a Balatonnál voltunk vizet zárni. Ez mindig olyan szomorú, több hónapra búcsút venni... De a tó és a környezete, a természet színei, a friss levegő mégis boldoggá teszi az embert. 

Először is kivágtam a leveleket kétszer, a címet egyszer a következő vágófájlból: https://createdbygwen.com.au/product/autumn-page-builder-cut-file/

Utána egy halloweeni kollekcióból választottam háttérpapírt hozzájuk: Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin - Candy Corn.

Fehér alapkartont akartam használni ezért egy kis Gesso után elővettem a Prima Watercolours akvarell festékemet, és hasonló színeket használva megfestettem a hátteret.

Mivel még üresnek éreztem az oldalt, pecsételtem néhány levelet és kifejezést a háttérre.

A leveleket és a címet átlósan elrendeztem, tettem rá még néhány flittert, és már készen is voltam. Hogy tetszik?

I am amazed by the gorgeous colours of the 1Canoe2 Willow collection - such beautiful greens combined with my favourite colour: blush.

I have chosen the paper with a dark green background and I decided to use the Leaf Sprig cutfile of Cut to YOU https://createdbygwen.com.au/product/leaf-sprig-cut-file/

to make a layout. The photo was taken last year, when we spent few days of the fall break in Esztergom. We had great time there, walked a lot in the city and enjoyed the time together.

I stayed at the dark green-blush colour combination, and cut the wreath from a blush cardstock. I fussy cut some flowers from the collection and added them on the wreath, using also 3D dots to add dimension. I added some phrase stickers and enamel dots as a final touch.

Elbűvöl a 1Canoe2 Willow kollekciója: olyan gyönyörű színekben pompázik! Ráadásul a sötétzöld mellett a kedvenc színem, a fáradt rózsaszín található.

A fotó tavaly ősszel készült, amikor is pár napot Esztergomban töltöttünk. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, sokat sétáltunk, és csak élveztük, hogy végre együtt lehetünk. 

Maradtam a sötétzöld-fáradt rózsaszín kombónál, és egy púderszínű alapkartonból vágtam ki a koszorút. 

A kollekció csodás virágaiból is kivágtam néhányat (az egy darab virágos papírból 2 oldalra is futotta 😉), majd a koszorú rá helyeztem őket, helyenként 3D ragasztókockával dimenziót adva nekik. Még néhány matrica és enamel pötty, és már készen is voltam.
