Easter Blessings - CUT to YOU

Hello there, Piroska is here today with my latest layout for CUT to YOU. April is here (can't believe it!) and Easter is coming. In Hungary there are many fun Easter traditions: on Easter Sunday the parents hide some chocolate eggs, bunnies in the courtyard in the grass (or in the flat), and say, the Easter Bunny has brought them. On Easter Monday the boys come to sprinkle the girls with perfume or water. My father used to wake me up with a glas of water on this day! :-P The sprinkling is essential for not fading like a flower, they say. The girls, in return, give them hand-painted eggs and treat them well with home made cakes and some drink. (it can have negative effects next day :-P )

I chose a photo of my daughter looking for some sweets hidden in the grass by the Easter bunny. For this layout I paired the Easter Blessings cut file with the Trio Flower Add On Cluster cut file. 

I used the Happiness collection of Cocoa Vanilla Studio for my whole layout.

First I cut the Easter Blessings cut file from smooth white cardstock, then started backing them with several patterned papers from the 6x6 paper pad. I cut 2 of the flowers from the Trio Flower Add On Cluster cut file, I used different patterned papers as I was not sure.

First I wanted to use a softer background, but didn't like it, so changed it to this darker one.

I arranged everything to create a line design. I added the cut flowers and the fussy-cut butterflies, and was ready.

Szia, örülök, hogy erre jártál. A fenti poszt 2020. április 2-án jelent meg a CUT to YOU blogján.

Sziasztok, itt Piroska a legújabb oldalammal. Április van (el sem hiszem!) és közeledik a Húsvét. Magyarországon több hagyomány is van, az egyik, hogy a szülők elrejtik a nyuszi ajándékát a fűben, vagy a lakásban, és a gyerekeknek meg kell találniuk azt. Húsvét hétfőn a fiúk meglocsolják kölnivízzel a lányokat, hogy nehogy elhervadjanak. Annak idején Apukám egy pohár vízzel ébresztett :-P Cserébe a lányok hímes tojást adnak a fiúknak, és megkínálják őket sok házi finomsággal és itallal, amitől másnapra megfájdul(hat) a fiúk hasa :-P

Az oldalamhoz egy két évvel ezelőtt készült fotót választottam, amikor is a barátainknál ünnepeltük a Húsvétot. Blanka és a többi gyerek a kertben eldugott ajándékok után kutatott, és jó sok csokit gyűjtött össze :-D A Easter Blessings vágófájlt valamint a  Trio Flower Add On Cluster vágófájl
választottam az oldalhoz, és Cocoa Vanilla Studio Happiness kollekcióját.
Először kivágtam az Easter Blessing vágófájlt sima fehér alapkartonból, és a kollekció 6"x6"-os papírkészletét használva mintás papírral háttereztem a vágófájlokat.
A Trio Flower vágófájlból kettőt vágtam ki különböző mintás papírokból, mert még nem voltam biztos benne, melyik illik a végén majd hozzá.

Először egy világos hátterű papírt választottam, de nem tetszett, így lecseréltem erre a sötétre. Nagyon jó a kontraszt, ugye? Az oldal elrendezéséhez a lineáris dizájnt választottam, még adtam néhány virág kivágatot és kézzel kivágott pillangót az oldalhoz, és már készen is voltam.

 The February challenge of Flóra Mónika Farkas at Pink and Paper Shop was to make a red & pink scrapbook page or card with lots of hearts elements.

I had this cut file of Paige Taylor Evans cut a long time ago, and paired it with am ombre background paper of the Pink Paislee Pick Me Up collection.

The embellishments are from the Main Squeeze collection of Crate Paper.

The photo was taken at a wedding 2 years ago. We had great fun playing with the photo accessoires. I just loved that floral wall, made by my cousine!

Farkas Flóra Mónika (Pink and Paper Shop) februári kihívásában szívekben tobzódó, rózsaszín és piros oldalt kellett készíteni. Már régóta kivágtam Paige Taylor Evans virágos szív vájófájlját, és egy ombre papírt tettem mögé a Pink Paislee Pick Me Up kollekcióból.
A kiegészítők a Crate Paper Main Squeeze kollekcióból valók.
A fénykép egy 2 évvel ezelőtti esküvőn készült, ahol jól elszórakoztunk a fotókellékekkel. A virágos falért teljesen odáig voltam, még inkább, mikor megtudtam, hogy az unokatestvérem saját maga készítette!! :-D

Autumn

When I saw the Autumn Page Builder cut file of CUT to YOU, I wanted to make a fall layout again. I chose a photo from the end of October, when we were at the Lake Balaton to set our weekendhouse ready for Winter. It is always so sad, it means saying goodbye for a few months, but the Lake and its surroundings, the colours of nature, the fresh air makes everything bearable. 

So I cut the leaves from the Cut file https://createdbygwen.com.au/product/autumn-page-builder-cut-file/ twice, and the title once. I backed the leaves and the title with a patterned cardstock of the Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin collection, called Candy Corn. 

I wanted to use a white cardstock as a base, so I used first gesso, and then my Prima Watercolours, and created a background with the same colours as the patterned paper has. I felt that the layout was still empty, so I stamped some leaves and sentiments on the background. 

I arranged the leaves and the title diagonal, added some sequins and I was ready. Do you like it?

Amikor megláttam a CUT to YOU őszi háttér vágófájlját, azonnal akartam még egy őszi oldalt készíteni. Egy október végén készült fotót választottam, amikor is a Balatonnál voltunk vizet zárni. Ez mindig olyan szomorú, több hónapra búcsút venni... De a tó és a környezete, a természet színei, a friss levegő mégis boldoggá teszi az embert. 

Először is kivágtam a leveleket kétszer, a címet egyszer a következő vágófájlból: https://createdbygwen.com.au/product/autumn-page-builder-cut-file/

Utána egy halloweeni kollekcióból választottam háttérpapírt hozzájuk: Crate Paper Hey Pumpkin - Candy Corn.

Fehér alapkartont akartam használni ezért egy kis Gesso után elővettem a Prima Watercolours akvarell festékemet, és hasonló színeket használva megfestettem a hátteret.

Mivel még üresnek éreztem az oldalt, pecsételtem néhány levelet és kifejezést a háttérre.

A leveleket és a címet átlósan elrendeztem, tettem rá még néhány flittert, és már készen is voltam. Hogy tetszik? 

Gather & Scrap

When I've been cutting the Fall background cutfile for my previous layout with my Silhouette Cameo (see it here http://scrapiros.blogspot.com/2019/11/eger-this-is-our-happy-place.html?m=1

), I found that the left overs look pretty as well, so I left them on my cutting mat.

I decided to make a wreath from the negative of the cutfile. I glued them one by one, piece by piece on the white cardstock. Then I have drawn the leaves with a pen (it is not the best, far from perfect, but I like the result).

I chose a photo from last year's crop. Since my first attempt in such a crop I am always with these girls (this time Mona couldn't be there, unfortunately). We always sit together, chatting a lot, laughing a lot, and scrapbooking as well, because that's why we are there 😅

And we have also promised to scrap our photo, so this is my attempt. What do you think, Scrapfriends?

Amikor az előző oldalamhoz kivágtam a Fall background vágófájl (lásd itt http://scrapiros.blogspot.com/2019/11/eger-this-is-our-happy-place.html?m=1  ), nagyon megtetszett a hulladék, ami a vágólapon maradt. Gondoltam, ne vesszen kárba, legyen ebből is egy oldal. 

Koszorú alakban ragasztottam fel egyesével a kis darabokat (igen, menet közben kicsit szidtam magam az ötletért 😅), de végül az eredmény kárpótolt. Tollal körberajzoltam azért a leveleket, hogy hangsúlyosabbak legyenek (ez messze jár a tökéletestől, de azért összességében tetszik).

A fotó a tavalyi scraptáborban készült. A mi kis hatos fogatunk (Mona sajnos hiányzott) az első táborom óta mindig együtt ül, sokat beszélgetünk, nevetünk, de alkotunk is, hisz ezért megyünk 😅

A közös fotóról pedig megfogadtuk, hogy mindenki megscrappeli. Íme az én változatom a témára. Mit szóltok? 

Eger - this is our happy place

In October we spent a few days of the fall break in Eger. My mother-in-law was also with us, we had great time there. We had long walks in the morning, and swam a lot in the afternoon. I am planning to make a mini album of our memories, but for now I am happy with this layout too. 

I thought the Fall background cut file of Cut to YOU https://createdbygwen.com.au/product/fall-autumn-background-cut-file/  would be perfect for the Lush cardstock of the 1Canoe2 Willow collection. It has such great colours, and matches my photo perfectly. I cut the cutfile from the middle of the paper, because I wanted to use the left overs of the paper as a border of my layout. 

I fussy cut some flowers from the Ambrose Blooms paper, and cut off the white border of one of flower cut outs. I also cut out the butterflies from the Happy Home paper, this way I had butterflies in different sizes. 

I added some patterned paper pieces behind the photo, placed everything diagonal, and my layout was ready in a (okay, maybe little more) minute. I love how this cutfile helps to create a layout so fast!

Az őszi szünetben pár napot Egerben töltöttünk Anyósommal. Jól éreztük magunkat, délelőtt nagyokat sétáltunk, délután nagyokat úsztunk - igazi felüdülés volt! 😊 Tervben van egy album az élményeinkről, de per pillanat örülök, hogy ez az oldal elkészült a témában.

Ismét a 1Canoe2 Willow kollekciójához nyúltam, és a Lush papírt választottam a kivágathoz. Arra vigyáztam a kivágásnál, hogy középre rendezzem a fájlt, mert a mintás papír szélét (vagyis a maradékot) keretként akartam használni az oldalon.

A fotó alá tettem néhány mintás papírt, kivágtam párat a kedvenc virágaimból (Ambrose Blooms) és egy kivágat fehér szélét is levágtam, hogy passzoljon. A Happy Home papírból pedig a pillangókat vágtam ki, így ugyanazok a pillangók több méretben is rendelkezésre álltak.

Átlósan helyeztem el a díszítőelemeket, és szinte már kész is voltam. Tetszik, hogy milyen hamar elkészül egy oldal egy háttér vágófájl segítségével.

Together with you

I am amazed by the gorgeous colours of the 1Canoe2 Willow collection - such beautiful greens combined with my favourite colour: blush.

I have chosen the paper with a dark green background and I decided to use the Leaf Sprig cutfile of Cut to YOU https://createdbygwen.com.au/product/leaf-sprig-cut-file/

to make a layout. The photo was taken last year, when we spent few days of the fall break in Esztergom. We had great time there, walked a lot in the city and enjoyed the time together.

I stayed at the dark green-blush colour combination, and cut the wreath from a blush cardstock. I fussy cut some flowers from the collection and added them on the wreath, using also 3D dots to add dimension. I added some phrase stickers and enamel dots as a final touch.

Elbűvöl a 1Canoe2 Willow kollekciója: olyan gyönyörű színekben pompázik! Ráadásul a sötétzöld mellett a kedvenc színem, a fáradt rózsaszín található.

A fotó tavaly ősszel készült, amikor is pár napot Esztergomban töltöttünk. Nagyon jól éreztük magunkat, sokat sétáltunk, és csak élveztük, hogy végre együtt lehetünk. 

Maradtam a sötétzöld-fáradt rózsaszín kombónál, és egy púderszínű alapkartonból vágtam ki a koszorút. 

A kollekció csodás virágaiból is kivágtam néhányat (az egy darab virágos papírból 2 oldalra is futotta 😉), majd a koszorú rá helyeztem őket, helyenként 3D ragasztókockával dimenziót adva nekik. Még néhány matrica és enamel pötty, és már készen is voltam.
