Hello Beautiful

I fell in love with a sketch of Scrapbook Werkstatt, so I decided to make it:

Nagyon megtetszett a Scrapbook Werkstatt egyik vázlatkihívása, ezért úgy döntöttem, hogy benevezek rá.

I used the butterfly cardstock from the Bloom collection of Maggie Holmes - I arranged everything via the sketch: I glued two triangles with the wood pattern on a white cardstock. Then I fussy cut some butterflies from the other 2 triangles and also cut a piece of rosa vellum below them. Some more embellishments from the collection, enamel dots, and ready. I just LOVE.IT!

Maggie Holmes Bloom kollekciójának pillangós papírjából dolgoztam: 2 famintás háromszöget felragasztottam egy fehér alapkartonra, a másik két háromszögből pedig kivágtam a pillangókat. Nem lett mind egész, de lehetett velük ügyeskedni ;-) Végül egy kis rózsaszín pauszt is raktam a pillangók aljára. Még néhány kiegészítő a kollekcióból, enamel pöttyök, és kész is lett. Egyszerűen IMÁDOM!
 

Első fagyi

For the challenge of scrapbolt.hu in June 2016 we had to make a layout about ice cream.

My daughter really likes ice cream (who doesn't?), but this was the first time she asked not only for a cone with some ice in it but for a whole ball. So the title of this layout is: The first ice cream.

Kislányom nagyon szereti a fagyit (ki nem?), de ez volt az első alkalom, hogy nem csak tölcsért kért egy kis fagyival, hanem egy teljes gombócot magának. 

First I painted with water colours the background. I decided to make my embellishments by myself: I stamped on cork, and then cut it out. I made a little label. I also machine sew on the layout for the love of structure. 

Először vízfestékkel megfestettem a hátteret. Úgy döntöttem, hogy magam készítem a kiegészítőket: pecsételtem parafára, majd kivágtam, és készítettem egy pici címkét. Egy kicsit végigszaladtam a varrógéppel is az oldalon.

I got new glasses - it is such a pleasure after wearing the same glasses for 5 years... I chose a modern, claret red one, I really like the look of it.

Új szemüvegem van - nagyon örülök neki, hogy 5 év után végre vehettem egy újat... Egy modern, sötétbordó műanyag keretet választottam, tökéletes ellentéte az előzőnek. Nagyon tetszik, jól érzem magam benne.

The chipboards of My Mind's Eye Hello Gorgious catched my eyes so I decided to build the entire layout around them. How do you like it?

A My Mind's Eye Hello Gorgious kollekció chipboardjai nagyon megtetszettek, csak emiatt a fénykép miatt vettem meg - végül az egész oldalt rájuk alapoztam. Hogy tetszik?

Medvék

For my second blog post as a guest designer at NőiCsizma Design I decided to make a layout about our visit to the bear park in Veresegyház. 

I decided to use the big circle divided chipboard as a base of my layout. I wanted to use self-made paper, so I chose the jungle stencil of NőiCsizma Design and sprayed Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Seafoam) on a white cardstock. 

I also made some branches with leaves with an other NőiCsizma stencil and Heidi Swapp Color Shine (Platina). I fussy cut those branches. 

I glued the photos and the self-made papers at the back of the divided circle chipboard. Then I added the branches and some more embellishments to the layout. 

At last I glued it on a wood pattern cardstock (Simple Stories). I really like the result. What about you?

Hello Lovely

The challenge in May 2016 at scrapbolt.hu was to make a layout with two different types of fabric and using a non-rectangle/non-square photo.

Beginning May we were at an outside event and were surprised by the power of the sun. Fortunately we got a hat borrowed for Blanka to prevent her from sunstroke. It fit her great, it was a strawhat with a long ribbon and lots of colorful flowers. 

Május elején egy ballagásra voltunk hivatalosak, ahol meglepő módon óriási erővel kezdett el sütni a nap. Szerencsére kaptunk kölcsön egy kalapot Blanka számára - enélkül biztosan napszúrást kapott volna... Nagyon jól állt neki, volt rajta egy hosszú szalag és sok kis apró virág. 

I decided to show that lovely hat on my layout. First I sew a circle with the sewing machine. Then I heat embossed some bows using Maggie Holmes Bloom stamps. I made some bows from different types of ribbons (organza, silk). I arranged everything around the circle, and added some flowers, sequins and enamel dots to it. 

Úgy döntöttem, hogy az oldalamon megmutatom ezt a kalapot: először géppel varrtam egy kört, majd hődomborítottam néhány masnit a kör mentén a Maggie Holmes Bloom kollekció pecsétjével. Selyem és organza szalagokból készítettem néhány masnit. Ezeket is elhelyeztem a kör mentén, és adtam hozzá néhány virágot, flittert és enamel pöttyöt is.

I cut the photo to octagon, and decided to use the same photo in black&white too.

Some more stamping, even the title,  black&white stripes to the side, and the layout was finished. Do you like it?

A fotót nyolcszögletűre vágtam, és úgy döntöttem, hogy fekete-fehérben is használom. 

Pecsételtem még egy kicsit, a címet is, fekete-fehér csíkos papírból vágtam 1-1 csíkot az oldalakra és el is készültem. Hogy tetszik?

Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star

It took me by surprise when Edit, the owner of the NőiCsizma Design asked me to be a guest designer in May 2016. I was shocked and overjoyed at the same time 😁😊

I had to write two blog posts. The first one was about this layout:

I really liked that Clara paper from Studio Calico, with the lullaby on it, it was perfect for the photo of my daughter sleeping (she was ill, that's why I was able to take a photo of her sleeping in daylight). But I found that it was too busy so I decided to cut a triangle out of it and turned the rest of the paper. This way both sides of that great paper can be seen. 

Then I used a NőiCsizma Design stencil and made some stars with Gelatos diagonal on the layout. I even coloured some star chipboards (NőiCsizma Design) and put it all over the layout in order to break the diagonal.

I decorated the layout with some chipboards and clay items (NőiCsizma Design) just like the bed is full of plush toys 😊

Love the way you treat animals

This layout was made for a challenge at scrapbolt.hu in April 2016. It's been a TicTacToe challenge, I chose the second row: pink, striped and sewing.

Én a második sort választottam: rózsaszín, csíkos, varrás.

Sewing: First I have drawn the word "love" in the title using a Heidi Swapp stencil (I just love her handwriting). Then I punched little holes and sew it with black floss. I really like the look of it.

Varrás: Először a címben lévő "love" feliratot hímeztem ki. Körberajzoltam egy Heidi Swapp stencilt (imádom a kézírását). Utána kilyukasztottam tűvel, kiradíroztam tűvel a vonalakat, majd fekete hímzőfonallal kihímeztem. Korábban el se tudtam volna képzelni, hogy varrjak egy oldalon, most meg kezd megtetszeni ☺️

Stripes: for the stripes I used up my bits and pieces what's been left from my Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine paper pad. (I really loved working with it, so colourful and fresh, perfect for summer layouts, albums. This is the first paper pad I used up totally.) And the alpha stickers are also striped (PinkPaislee).

Csíkos: A csíkokhoz felhasználtam mindent, ami még megmaradt egy nyári album után az Amy Tangerine Rise and Shine papírtömbből. (Nagyon szerettem vele dolgozni, olyan friss és vidám, tökéletes a nyári oldalakhoz, albumokhoz. Az első papírkészlet, amit az utolsó centiig felhasználtam.) És csíkos az egyik betűmatrica is (PinkPaislee).

Pink: As my daughter on the photo wears  pink, I wanted to highlight her by using a lot of pink on the layout.

Rózsaszín: Mivel a kislányom a fényképen rózsaszínben van, a rózsaszín használatával hangsúlyozni szerettem volna őt. 

Story: I loved watching my daughter feeding this goat. It was the first time she did such a thing but she was so open, curious and enjoyed it so much! She even imitated how the goat eats ☺️ She was so cute... ❤️

Történet: imádtam nézni, ahogy Blanka etette ezt a kecskét. Először járt kisállatsimogatóban, és nagyon élvezte. Nyitott volt, kíváncsi és még utánozta is a kecskét, ahogy eszik ☺️ Olyan cuki volt...

Apu 70

Last year my father became 70. We decided to organize a birthday party for him, and I decided to make an album for him about his precious memories. Unfortunately not many photos has been found from his childhood (only when he was a teeny but nothing before).

2016. áprilisban 70 éves lett Édesapám. Szerveztünk neki egy meglepetés partit, én pedig készítettem neki egy albumot, amiben összefoglaltam a legfontosabb pillanatokat. Sajnos a gyerekkorából nem sok kép maradt (szinte semmi, csak tizenéves korából találtunk).

The base of the album is a pre-bounded chipboard album from Studio 75 (scrapbookshop.hu). I used the Rustic Elegance collection from Carta Bella - I think it works pretty great with this theme too. I used NőiCsizma Design labels.
When I wanted to add more photos to a phase then I used waterfall or accordion technique. 

Az album alapja egy előre spirálozott chipboard album a a Staudio 75-től (lásd scrapbookshop.hu). A Carta Bella Rustic Elegance nevű készletet használtam, ami bár esküvő témája, meglepően jól passzolt ide is. A címkék NőiCsizma Design termékek. 
Ahol az adott korszakhoz több fényképet is szerettem volna berakni, ott vízesés vagy harmonika technikát alkalmaztam.
